Worldsmith privacy policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you play Worldsmith: Merge Puzzle Game (“the game”), made by SYD Games (“we”, “us”). Contact: contact@sydgames.com.
The short version
- You don’t need an account. Your progress and settings stay on your device.
- We don’t run servers that collect your personal information.
- Optional video ads are provided by Google AdMob, which collects some data to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your discoveries, hints, daily tasks, purchases you’ve unlocked and settings in the app’s private storage on your device. This information is not sent to us. You can delete it with Settings › Reset progress or by uninstalling the game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows a video ad only when you choose to watch one, for example to earn a hint. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To deliver, limit, measure and, where you allow it, personalise ads, Google may collect information such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another region where consent is required, the game shows Google’s consent form before any ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

Purchases (Google Play)
Hint packs, the Supporter Pack and content packs are sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy. The game only receives a confirmation of which product you bought so it can unlock it on your device.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, reminders (for example, when free hints are ready) are scheduled locally on your device. No information is sent to us.
Children
The game is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold personal information about you on our own systems, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For information collected by Google for advertising or purchases, use the controls described above or contact Google. If you have any question or request, email us and we will reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game’s update notes.
